Ambassador Majintha Jayesinghe met with Liu Jun, President of Beijing Capital Airlines Co., Ltd., to discuss the planned launch of direct flights from Beijing to Colombo starting from January 31, 2026. The initiative aims to further enhance direct connectivity between Sri Lanka and China and promote mutual tourism exchanges.
