The Embassy of Sri Lanka, together with the Sri Lankan Business community in China, is participating in the 11th “Colourful World” Cultural Exhibition and Exchange event from 9th to 13th September 2026, which is a trademark event of the China International Fairs for Trade and Services (CIFTIS), co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government of the People’s Republic of China. Sri Lanka’s presence at the “Colourful World” Cultural Exhibition’s 11th edition is focused particularly on promoting Ceylon Tea and traditional Sri Lankan handicrafts.
The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. together with officials of the Embassy participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition on 09th September 2026 and engaged with participants and media.
